Dr. Elhosary was born and raised in Egypt. In 2006, he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery from Alexandria School of Dentistry. After graduation, he completed a year of general dentistry residency as part of a multiple dental mission and worked in private practice for two years.

While on vacation in Boston in 2008, Dr. Elhosary shadowed a group of dentists and was impressed by the standard of care in the U.S. As a result, he decided to attend dental school and continue his dental practice in the U.S.

In 2014, Dr. Elhosary graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) and Dean’s List Honors. In addition, his exceptional work and commitment to the practice of dentistry earned him a diploma from the American Academy of Gold Restorations.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Elhosary practiced in New Hampshire then moved to Texas in 2015.

Dr. Elhosary always envisioned owning a dental practice where he could offer exceptional care to his patients without the corporate pressures and compromises found in large scale dental enterprises. Accordingly, he acquired South Austin Dental Studio in 2020 where he prides himself on providing outstanding and attentive dental care tailored to each individual patient’s needs. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Elhosary enjoys playing tennis and squash, shooting clay, paddle boarding, and playing chess.
